I am so excited and proud of myself. I have lost most of the weight I gained on vacation. I weigh 153 today, and weighed 152 pre vacay. I lost 5.4 pounds this week!!!! Granted, a lot of it was water weight, so it was a little easier to get that much weight off so quickly.
But I will take some of the credit ;) I have had a great clean eating week. I decided not to do the 3 day shakeology cleanse, because after attempting day 1, I was just too hungry. I couldn’t go from eating like a piggy in Mex, to have 3 shakes, fruit and a salad from one day to the next. What I did though, is replace 1 meal and 1 snack with Shakeology.
This is what my week looked like meal wise.
B(8am)- Shakeology w/soy milk
S(10am)- orange and almonds
L(1pm)- subway turkey salad (double meat), oil and vinegar dressing
S(4pm)- nectarine and cottage cheese
D(6pm)- chicken veggies and brown rice
S(9pm)- Shakeology (1/2 serving) w/soy milk
I jumped on my elliptical a couple days this week also. I wanted to ease into the workouts. I was just feeling so heavy and slow when I first got back.
I’m starting a round of P90x on Monday. I’ve never made it past month 2, but this time I WILL! I will keep you all updated on my P90x progress and diet. I don’t want to set specific goals, i.e. weight or size. I usually end up gaining weight my first few weeks of p90x (muscle). My goal is simply to complete a full round of p90x and eat super clean for the next 90 days. I’m sure I’ll feel and look a lot better by the time I’m done.
Bikini season is around the corner!
